Getting to Lodge Ohno
Lodge Ohno is very easy to find, if you get to the Akakura Kanko Ski Area. The hotel is just below and to the south of the ski area (across the bridge, and only about one minutes' walk from the slopes) and is right on Prefectural Road 39.

Coming by train: Exit at Myokokogen Station. Most travelers will be coming from Nagano, either transferring from the Hokuriku Shinkansen, or from Nagoya on the Chuo Line. It's only about 40 minutes from Nagano to Myokokogen. At the station, a taxi is your best bet. There are buses leaving for Akakura, but the walk is a bit far (fine if you don't have a lot of gear). Once here, it's easy to access the shuttle buses that travel between Akakura Onsen Ski Area, Akakura Kanko Ski Resort, Ikenotaira Ski Resort and Suginohara Ski Resort.

By car: Exit at the Myokokogen Interchange of the Joshinetsu Expressway; from there, it's just 5 to 10 minutes to Lodge Ohno (turn left at the Toyohashi signal, the first major intersection after exiting the freeway, turning left, heading through a tunnel—the signal is just past 7-11, which is on the right).

The Google map below may be in Japanese depending on location, but it gives a good sense of where the hotel is in relation to the surroundings. If you have any problems or need more information, please email to info_e@lodgeohno.com.
